Todd Boehly, co-owner of Chelsea, is sticking by under-fire head coach Graham Potter.
The Blues’ manager chose Potter as a replacement for fan favorite Thomas Tuchel in September, but the club has had a dismal 2022/23 season.
Chelsea are now 11th in the Premier League after losing 2-0 to Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, during which home fans taunted Potter with chants of ‘you don’t know what you’re doing’ and ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning.’ Nagelsmann
Without a doubt, Graham Potter has only won 12 of Chelsea’s 31 games, for a win percentage of 38.7%.
And Boehly has decided to stick with Potter, making another change of head coach this season unlikely.
But the issue with Potter’s future is that Julian Nagelsmann has emerged as a contender to take over as Chelsea’s head coach if they decide to change.
