Chelsea is looking forward to making a big move and then winning the Champions League. This is also only possible if they win tonight’s away game against Borussia Dortmund.
The Londoners are already struggling in the Premier League, having drawn 1-1 with West Ham last weekend. Todd Boehly’s leadership has already spent £600 million on signing high-profile players to bolster Graham Potter’s squad.
Chelsea have injuries to N’Golo Kante (hamstring), Christian Pulisic, Armando Broja (both knees), and Edouard Mendy (finger) ahead of the Champions League match.
While Aubameyang, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Madueke, David Datro Fofana, and Andrey Santos have all been ruled ineligible, not left out of Champions League.
Wesley Fofana (knee), Mateo Kovacic (calf), and Denis Zakaria (thigh), Raheem Sterling (knee), and Kalidou Koulibaly (thigh) are all out (illness). All are suspect and will be evaluated before the trip to Germany.
However, if few or all are given a clean bill of health, the Englishman may choose Kepa in this situation. And so are Reece James, Thiago Silva, Koulibaly, and Cucurella, who are all doing well.
Enzo Fernandez, Loftus-Cheek, Mount, and a trio of Mykhaylo Mudryk, Kai, and Felix will try to score goals for the visitors and secure all three points. Despite a high number of injuries in his camp, Graham Potter has a deep squad to choose from.
