Mudryk completed his transfer to Chelsea over the weekend and was seen in his first training session with his new club. Potter is hoping that new signing Mudryk will provide the much-needed boost to his team. The attacker will be in contention to face the Reds after taking part in his first training session at the club’s facility in Cobham on Wednesday.
Mudryk participated in Potter’s coaching team’s drills while wearing a hat, gloves, shorts, and a long sleeve training top. Reece James and Ben Chilwell, who are both returning from injury, joined the Ukrainian in the session.
Potter has had a clear week to work with his entire squad for the first time since September.

As time passed, key players left, and it became a struggle for stability and the confidence that comes with it. Even though it’s not pleasant, it teaches you a lot.
“I understand that people’s timetables are very short these days, but in the end, we’ll just keep working and trying to improve.”
Chelsea has already signed five players this month, including David Fofana, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, and Andrey Santos. But Potter is wary of adding more players to an already overcrowded squad.
“We must be cautious. It’s a test for us. You need a balanced squad with the right amount of competition. “We’re missing 10 or 11 players,” Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho explained.
“You obviously can’t just sign players to replace those, because in the end, you have a squad of 30, and that’s a problem. You must do the right thing and consider the best solutions.
“Because the January window is complicated, they are not always perfectly aligned. There is a period of transition during which you must stabilize things and work to support the club as best you can.”
