Opinion: Chelsea should grab the opportunity and sign Cristiano Ronaldo in January

Manchester United’s star, Cristiano Ronaldo has been rumoured to be unhappy at the Club. It has also been reported that the Player’s relationship with the Club has broken down after the Player conducted an interview and “exposed the truth” about Manchester United.

Many sources have now stated that Manchester United will allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave the Club in the January transfer window.

Chelsea have been inconsistent this season. The team has been producing poor results which led to the Club sacking Thomas Tuchel early this season. Chelsea appointed Graham Potter to turn things around for the Club but the team has kept on failing to impress.

Chelsea should however grab the opportunity to sign Cristiano Ronaldo in the January transfer window.

Chelsea’s attackers have been poor and have failed to finish off decent chances. The Club signed Raheem Sterling and Aubameyang to help them solve their attacking problems but this has not been the case.

Raheem Sterling has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 19 games for Chelsea this season while Aubameyang has scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists in 12 appearances for the Club. This shows that Chelsea cannot depend on these players for goals.
