Chelsea manager Graham Potter has stayed optimistic about Reece James knee Injury. The right-back sustained an Injury during Chelsea’s 2-0 win over AC Milan in the UEFA Champions league.
James was forced off injured in the 62nd minute, Cesar Azpilicueta replaced the England international. Despite his absence, the Blues managed to secure a win over AC Milan to move to the top of Group E table in the UEFA Champions league. Jorginho and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored for Chelsea.
Graham Potter said they are hoping that James will be okay because it’s too early to say anything about the injury. Reece James has established himself as one of the best right-backs in the top five European leagues. He has been highly impressive in performance since joining Chelsea.
The Blues are set to play against Aston Villa at Villa Park in the Premier League on Sunday.
