Potter started attacking trio Sterling, Mount & Aubameyang while the midfield comprised of Jorginho and Kovacic. Chelsea received huge boost in the 18th minute after Tomori fouled Mount to receive a red card and the Blues were awarded a penalty which was converted by Jorginho in the 21st minute to gift the Blues a 1-0 lead. Chelsea dominated ball possession and relentlessly rallied for the 2nd goal in the 34th minute through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who was assisted by Mason Mount to seal a 2-0 lead at halftime for Blues.

Chelsea fans were happy with recent Aubameyang resurgence that has lead him to scoring goals regularly and consistently for the club.
