Chelsea was back to winning ways after defeating Crystal Palace in yesterday’s match at Selhurst Park in the first Premier League match under Graham Potter. The Blues showed great improvement in today’s match compared to the time Thomas Tuchel was in charge this season.
Graham Potter’s men went a goal down in the 7th minute of the match through Odsonne Edouard to give Crystal Palace a decisive lead. However, the Blues levelled the scores in the 38th minute through summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who scored a brilliant goal to give the Blues hope.
The Blues continued to create chance’s in the match to find a winner but had to wait until the 90th minute when Conor Gallagher scored a brilliant goal from outside the box to seal the win for Graham Potter’s men. Chelsea had 13 goal attempts against Crystal Palace which is a clear indication of how brilliant they have been in attack.
They could have scored more goals in the match but wasted a lot of chances which could have seen an increase in the goal difference. Potter started a strong squad against Patrick Viera and proved to be decisive in the match.
Moreover, English midfielder Conor Gallagher was amazing in the match today and despite his last-minute winner goal, he made a remarkable impact in the team’s midfield. He brought a lot of creativity after coming from the bench in the second half which saw Chelsea get more threatening in front of the goal.

Gallagher was exceptional in midfield and he was difficult to break for the opponents he was also brilliant offensively in the match. He could make a great impact at Chelsea if he will get enough playing time this season.
